— Fulham has been drawn to play Germany's Wolfsburg in the Europa League quarterfinals after American midfielder's Clint Dempsey's late goal on a chip over the goalkeeper gave the Cottagers an upset victory over Juventus.
The first leg of the home-and-home, total-goals series will be at Craven Cottage on April 1 and the second leg will be in Germany one week later, the Union of European Football Associations determined Friday.
Benfica hosts five-time European champion Liverpool in the first leg of Europe's second-level club tournament, formerly known as the UEFA Cup. Hamburg hosts Belgium's Standard Liege, and Valencia hosts Atletico Madrid in an all-Spanish matchup.

According to reports in Italy, AC Milan have set their sights on Wolfsburg playmaker Zvjezdan Misimovic and hope to tempt both him and club-mate Edin Dzeko to San Siro in the summer.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that Milan are ready to dish out €14 million for the 27-year-old midfielder this summer.
The Italians have been heavily linked with Dzeko all season with reports suggesting that they have long been planning a summer swoop for the Bosnian international and hope to finally agree a fee with the German club after the World Cup.
However, Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani may now be heading to Germany to seal a double signing as Milan look to refresh an ageing squad that saw them crash out of the Champions League to Manchester United last week.
With Misimovic’s current contract set to run until 2013 and considering Wolfsburg’s reluctance to part with Dzeko, sealing a double-swoop this summer will not be an easy task.

Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko will not be moving to the San Siro in January after AC Milan confirmed that only David Beckham and Fredrikstad striker Dominic Adiyiah would be arriving in the New Year. The 23-year-old hitman, who has repeatedly spoken of his desire to play for the Serie A giants, has already seen Arsenal rule themselves out of the running for his signature after manager Arsene Wenger accepted that last season’s Bundesliga top scorer was probably out of the Gunners price range.
Dzeko signed a new deal at current club Wolfsburg before the start of the new season but has been repeatedly linked with Premier League sides including Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. One of Europe’s most coveted strikers it is thought the physical centre-forward will leave Germany within the next year.
“I like the player,” Arsene Wenger admitted during a press conference last week. “But they fly too high right now, price-wise."
The decision on the part of both Arsenal and AC Milan to not pursue Dzeko’s signature appears to pave the way for Sir Alex Ferguson to make a move. The Manchester United boss has seen Dzeko play at first hand on two occasions this season with Wolfsburg meeting the Red Devils in the Champions League. The Bosnian scored a powerful header at the Theatre of Dreams but cut a more frustrated figure in the return fixture as Michael Owen grabbed the headlines with a hattrick.

SARAJEVO, Dec 17, 2009 (AFP) - Bosnia international striker Edin Dzeko and junior world judo championship gold medallist Larisa Ceric were named as Bosnia's athletes of the year for 2009, the organisers said on Thursday.
"Although the year has been marked with a lot of success I regret some projects that have not been realised," said Dzeko. "Notably the failure to qualify for the World Cup finals and Wolfsburg's Champions League exit."
Bosnia lost out to Portugal in the World Cup play-offs to miss out on a first finals appearance.
The 23-year-old was the second best scorer of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers with nine goals and was named Germany's footballer of the year after helping Wolfsburg to the Bundesliga title with 26 goals, including three hat-tricks.
Ceric, 18, won her judo gold in October in Paris.

Edin Dzeko has emerged as a potential target for Chelsea Football Club. Whilst the Blues first choice is said to be Argentina international Sergio Aguero, the 21-year-old insists he will not leave Atletico Madrid during the current season. The Mail on Sunday claim the Premier League leaders have alternative options, and leading this pack is Bosnian international hotshot Dzeko, of Wolfsburg. The 23-year-old has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United in recent weeks, although he has gone on record in the past to reveal a desire to join AC Milan. However, reports claim the representatives of Dzeko have already flown into London to discuss a potential winter move to Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United's hopes of signing Edin Dzeko have been boosted by AC Milan cooling their interest in the Wolfsburg striker.
The much-coveted Dzeko has made no secret of his desire to join Milan, but San Siro managing director Adriano Galliani says he is looking for a different kind of attacking option.
Following the Italian giants' 2-0 defeat by Palermo at the weekend, Galliani said: 'We are looking for an out and out attacker. We like Dzeko, but he doesn't have the characteristics we are looking for.'
Wolfsburg resisted bids from Milan and interest in Dzeko from the Barclays Premier League during the summer.
The 23-year-old Bosnia international has been tracked by United as a potential January recruit, while Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal have also shown interest.
Dzeko has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances for Wolfsburg this season and was named Bundesliga player of the year last season after hitting 26 in 32 league appearances
